Craftsmanship

Each micromega pair is handcrafted exclusively in our Venice laboratory, requiring particular manual and technical skills, as well as years of experience. A very limited production allows us to tailor each frame made to measure, according to the aesthetic and technical needs of each customer. The assembly starts from the lens shaping, which is cut by hand or using specific machinery, based on the type of result required. Then we apply the titanium wire "bridge" that joins the two lenses, part of our international patent, which almost seems to "sew" them together. Finally, the temples, also with a joint made of titanium wire, are assembled to the lenses.

Design

The idea of a new model comes from the most disparate occasions: every inspiration is a good inspiration, in our philosophy. The assembly system that uses titanium wire allows us such freedom of expression that even the most extravagant eyewear is still simple in its realization.
Opportunities to create something new are always welcome, and often come from end customers. A particular shape, a different color, a purpose not thought of before, are just some of the requests we receive almost daily.
The design of a new model of glasses is the order of the day in our laboratory, which is always researching for new shapes, new materials and new styles.

Lightness

The basic intuition, founding our entire project, is linked to the search for minimal eyewear that can be made with little material and with the use of a few essential tools. Everything starts with five pieces of titanium wire: two for each temple, and one for the bridge. By adding two silicone nose pads, the overall weight of the frame is only 0.9g. The lenses we use are exclusively of the highest quality, and with a high index, which allows us to reduce weight and thickness. The Italian institute Certottica carried out a weighing for us, certifying the lightest frame in the world official: our "Cult" model. With such a lightness, you forget you are wearing glasses.

Resistance

Working by subtraction, we arrived at a product that was free of all the weak points of traditional glasses: screws, glues, welds, rivets. In this way, our patented assembly system allows us to make glasses that are very resistant, as well as lightweight.
The material we use for all assemblies is titanium wire, combined for example with natural buffalo horn or plexiglass.
We subject our glasses to wear tests to verify their durability over time, and the results are far better than those of traditional frames, thanks above all to the great elasticity of the metal we use.
